Dermal Fillers in Dunwoody,
Sandy Springs & North Atlanta

The face deflates as well as descends. Filler replaces volume where it has been lost — lips, cheeks, folds, jawline, under the eyes — and the product chosen matters as much as the placement.

Overview

What Filler Addresses

JUVÉDERM® is a hyaluronic acid filler. It restores volume and smooths creases by attracting and retaining moisture in the skin, and it is FDA-approved.

  • Lips — from subtle definition to added volume, and correcting a small upper lip.
  • Nasolabial folds — the creases running from the nose to the corners of the mouth.
  • Marionette lines — running down from the corners of the mouth.
  • Cheeks and mid-face — lifting and defining where structure has been lost.
  • Chin and jawline — adding definition to the lower face without surgery.
  • Under the eyes — the tear trough, where hollowing reads as tiredness.
The Collection

Five Products, Five Jobs

These are not interchangeable. They differ in how thick they are and how much structure they give, which is what decides where each one belongs.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra

Subtle volume. Suits small top lips and soft tissue areas where the change wanted is modest.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus

More robust support, for deeper lines and folds — nasolabial folds and smile lines.

JUVÉDERM® Volbella

A thinner consistency for delicate areas: subtle lip enhancement, contouring, and softening fine lines around the mouth without adding heavy volume.

JUVÉDERM® Voluma

Formulated to lift and define the mid-face. Cheek enhancement, and structure where the face has begun to sag.

And Volux, for the jawline

JUVÉDERM® Volux offers the highest level of structure and support in the collection, which is what a chin or jawline needs. It delivers precise shaping and long-lasting results for a sharper, more defined profile. Where the jawline needs more than filler can give, repositioning the bone itself is the surgical answer — and knowing which of the two you need is worth an examination.

Cost

Filler is priced by syringe, and the number depends on the area: lip enhancement typically takes one to two, while cheek contouring needs more. Your plan and its cost are set out at consultation. Pricing and financing options for surgical procedures are listed in full.

Common Questions

Dermal Filler FAQs

What is JUVÉDERM® and how does it work?

It is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler. It restores volume and smooths facial wrinkles by attracting and retaining moisture in the skin.

How is it different from BOTOX®?

Filler adds volume to areas that have thinned, smoothing wrinkles caused by volume loss. BOTOX® relaxes muscles to reduce wrinkles caused by repeated expression. They address different causes, and many faces show both.

Which areas can be treated?

Lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and the marionette lines around the mouth, along with the chin and jawline and the tear trough under the eyes.

Is it safe?

JUVÉDERM® is FDA-approved and has a strong safety profile when administered by a qualified practitioner.

How long does a session take?

Between 15 and 60 minutes, depending on how many areas are being treated.

Is there anything I should do beforehand?

Avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol, and supplements such as fish oil and vitamin E for at least a week before treatment. All of them make bruising more likely.

How many syringes will I need?

It depends on the area and the result you want. Lip enhancement may take one to two syringes; cheek contouring generally needs more.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Results are visible immediately, with the optimal outcome appearing within about a week. The effect lasts from six months up to two years, depending on the product used and on individual factors.

Is there downtime?

Minimal. Most patients resume normal activities immediately, though some have temporary swelling or bruising.

Are there side effects?

Redness, swelling, or bruising at the injection site are the common ones, and they typically resolve within a few days.
